Aurangabad, July 11:

In the series of the blood donation camps ‘Lokmat Raktacha Nata’, being organised to mark the birth anniversary of freedom fighter and founder president Jawaharlalji Darda Babuji, camp organised at Aref Colony on Sunday received an overwhelming response. The camp was organised through Aref Housing Society and Global Medical Foundation on the main road of Aref Colony. Lokmat’s editor-in-chief Rajendra Darda was present on the occasion and encouraged the blood donors. He said, considering the scarcity of blood in the blood banks in the state, the Lokmat Group has started a series of blood donation camp ‘Raktacha Nata’ across the state. The camps are getting good response.

Corporator Jamir Ahmed Qadri, Lokmat’s editor Chakradhar Dalvi, Lokmat Samachar’s executive editor Amitabh Shrivastav, Lokmat Times’ resident editor Yogesh Gole, Congress activist Shaikh Yousuf, Global Medical Foundation and Welfare Society’s Masiyoddin Siddiqui, Mohammad Khan Abdul Aziz, Azhar Qadri, Ashrafbhai, Ayub Khan, Shamim Bhai, Rizwana Shamim, Dr Siraj Baig, Avez Siddiqui, Fasiyoddinbhai, Ezazbhai and others were present. Global Medical Foundation’s Masiyoddin Siddiqui said that he and his foundation are always attached to the projects initiated by Lokmat for the welfare of the society. This initiative by Lokmat is very commendable and everyone should join this noble cause.
