Aurangabad, Nov 13:

Waluj MIDC police registered a case against a truck driver responsible for the death of a 70 years old man after dashing him.

The deceased, Pandurang Mahadu Thorve (70, Waluj Pathkar Naka area), was hit by a truck (MH 20 TR 0883) while going from Waluj towards Aurangabad on his motorcycle (MH 20 AC 6814) near Bajaj Gate. The truck driver absconded from the scene after the accident. Pandurang Thove died on October 27 while undergoing treatment at a private hospital. Based on a complaint lodged by his wife Vishranti Thorve, a case has been registered against the driver Devisingh Mangalsingh at the Waluj MIDC police station.
