Aurangabad, Oct 20:

The classes for first year Engineering degree and diploma courses will commence from December 1, as per the revised academic calender issued by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

It may be noted that the classes for the newly admitted students generally starts by September 15 every year.

However, the admission process was delayed in many States due to the spread of Novel coronavirus.

The Government of many States requested the AICTE to extend the admission deadline.

Following which, the Council extended the last date of admission for the first year students up to November 30.

So, the classes, online or offline, will start for first year engineering degree and diploma courses will begin from December 1.

Meanwhile, the admission process for the first year engineering in the State will start after the declaration of the result of MHT-CET. The CET result is likely to be announced by the end of this.
