Aurangabad, Nov 9:

In order to inculcate the spirit of service above self and caring for others in various manners, The MGM School, Padegaon had taken up the noble cause of “Community Service” as its theme for the month of October.

The students learnt doing something voluntarily for others. It enabled them to acquire life skills and knowledge, gain confidence and learn what empathy is. They became aware of the difficulties and hardships of several issues plaguing the society. The students enthusiastically took part in the community service under the guidance of the teachers and help of their parents at home.

The students distributed hygienic masks to the community helpers, fed stray dogs and cats, took care of their own domestic pets and cattle by feeding them, distributed clothes to the needy, helped their grandparents by giving them medicine on time, reading out newspaper articles for them, thus spending quality time with them.
