Aurangabad, March 14:

Angry corona patients caused a commotion on Sunday morning at the municipal Meltron hospital in Chikhalthana due to a lack of water on Sunday morning. The patients also objected to serving stale rice for breakfast at the covid care centre in the government engineering college.

The number of corona patients in the city is growing rapidly. The Covid Care Center (CCC) at the government engineering college was reopened eight days ago. There are 250 corona patients in the two buildings. On Sunday morning, the contractor served fried rice for breakfast. But some patients complained that the rice was stale. Shortly thereafter, patients on the first and second floors gathered together and caused a fuss. After this incident, the CCC officials called the contractor. A representative of the supplier agency immediately came and tried to convenience the patients. But the patient insisted on changing the rice. The contractor then supplied another breakfast.

Water tank burst in Meltron

There was no water for the patients in the morning as the water tank at Meltron hospital burst. The patient became angry as the water supply was disrupted for a long time. The municipal corporation then arranged for water tankers.

No beds left in the district hospital

All 300 beds in the district civil hospital were full on Sunday. Therefore, the hospital administration had to put up a sign saying 'No bed is empty in the hospital' at the main gate. There are signs that patients will have to deal with the inconvenience due to inadequate beds.
