Aurangabad, Nov 24:

The dead body of an auto-rickshaw driver who was drowned in Harsul lake, was found on Tuesday after a two-day search.

According to details, Vishwanath Prahlad Dandge (48, Radhaswami Colony), the driver, had gone with his daughter to lake premises on Sunday for exercise. Obsessed with swimming, he entered the lake and drowned.

Personnel of Fire Brigade had launched a search for him since then. A team of State Disaster Response Force was called on Monday for help in searching the body.

The team found the driver’s body at the centre of the lake at 5 pm today. Fire Brigade personnel took out Dandge from lake in an unconscious state and rushed him to Government Medical College and Hospital. He was declared dead in the GMCH. Harsul Police registered a case of accidental death.
