Aurangabad, Jan 14:

The guardian minister Subhash Desai and the environment minister Aditya Thackeray will be inaugurating and dedicating various development works to the citizens, on Jan 16.

Under the guidance of AMC administrator A K Pandey and the city engineer S D Panzade, the heads of each department, engineers and sectional engineers are toiling hard to complete the preparations of programmes to be inaugurated on Saturday.

According to the press release, the list of programmes which will be inaugurated and dedicated to the citizens includes garbage processing plant at Padegaon (150 MT capacity); bicycle track; Master System Integrator and Command and Control Center (CCC) near police commissionerate (these works are developed through Smart City Fund); 100 modern bus shelters; outdoor display and busway near Railway Station; shops built around the stadium at T V Centre (N-10); traffic island in front of Amarpreet Chowk on Jalna Road and late Balasaheb Thackeray's mural; Bio-Methanation Project (wet waste processing plant having 30 tonnes capacity) and UNDP Dry Waste at Kanchanwadi.
