Aurangabad, Dec 2:

Dr Shivshankar Batra, a resident of N-1, Cidco, had gone from his home since morning on Tuesday. He arrived at home at 10.45 am on Wednesday, and the family members heaved a sigh of relief.

Dr Batra had gone for a morning walk on Tuesday at 7.30 am. Earlier, he had talked with his wife before leaving home. However, he did not return home. He did not carry his mobile phone and money with him and hence everyone was worried. A case was registered at the Cidco MIDC police station and the police started the search operation.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday at around 10.30 am, he called on his wife’s mobile phone from the phone of an unidentified person from Beed By-pass Road. Later, his relatives went there to take him. He had some injuries on his hand. However, no information of his injuries has been received yet. As he was not mentally prepared to talk, his statement was not recorded, informed PI, Vitthal Pote.
