Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

In a surprising incident, a driverless car started to move in reverse direction and stopped by dashing a medical shop situated 1500 feet away. Incidentally, none of them were harmed, but the shop counter was damaged completely. This incident took place in a crowded Maharana Pratap Chowk on Monday afternoon.

It is learnt that the car driver has come to the hospital with his wife. He parked his car (bearing number MHGQ 7068) on the roadside. As the surface was slightly sloppy, the car automatically started to move in the reverse direction. It crossed the road and then climbed up the stairs of a medical shop. Due to sultry weather, there was no rush of people on the road and also in the medical shop.

The speed of the car moving in the reverse direction was very high. As a result, it climbed up the stairs of height 3 feet and stopped by dashing the counter of the medical shop. Meanwhile, the car driver was also shocked with the incident, however, he confessed to having a technical snag in the vehicle.

The residents got panicked with the incident. A huge crowd gathered at the accident spot to see the car. Meanwhile, the company engineers will visit and inspect the car soon, said the driver.
