Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Police administration used drones to keep watch on some HSC examination centres in the district on Tuesday.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) started holding the February-March 2025 HSC examination today.

There was a tight police bandobast around the centres. The flying squads visited 161 centres. District collect Deelip Swami visited the centres and inspected facilities.

Education Officer (Secondary) Ashwini Lathkar said that the crime branch of city police, following the orders of Commissioner of Police Pravin Pawar, used drones to keep watch on centres on the first day today. The city police said that the monitoring with drones is to be continued to put a check on malpractice.

District Collector Deelip Swami visited the examination centre at Deogiri College. Secondary Education Officer Ashwini Lathkar-Pansare visited some centres in Sillod tehsil. Primary Education Officer Jayashree Chavan visited Khuldabad, and Education Officer Aruna Bhumkar paid visits to centres in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar tehsil.
