A shocking incident unfolded at Akashvani Chowk when a truck carrying gas cylinders lost control and crashed into a police post. The driver was later found to be heavily intoxicated.

The accused driver has been identified as Dnyaneshwar Khute (33) from Hingoli. According to Jinsi Police, on March 12 at around 6 pm, a truck (MH-44-YU-2911) carrying gas cylinders was speeding from Kranti Chowk towards CIDCO Bus Stand. As it reached Akashvani Chowk, the driver lost control, and the truck rammed into a police post. Traffic police immediately intervened, detained the driver, and handed him over to Jinsi Police. A medical examination confirmed that Khute was under the influence of alcohol while driving a highly flammable gas-laden truck. Jinsi Police have registered a case against him.
