Gaura Purnima festival to be held at ISKCON Madhuvan on March 3

The Gaura Purnima festival marking the birth anniversary of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu will be celebrated at the ISKCON Madhuvan centre on Adalat Road on Tuesday, with a series of religious programmes and a flower Holi.
According to information shared by the organisers, the programme will commence at 6 pm with kirtan and abhishek of Mahaprabhu. Krishna Dhan Prabhu from Nashik will deliver a discourse on the life and teachings of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. The event will include Maha Aarti, offering of Chhappan Bhog and distribution of Mahaprasad to devotees. The celebrations will conclude with devotees playing Holi with flowers. Centre head Dr. Ramesh Ladda said preparations are underway for the festival. Spiritual education stalls will be set up on the premises. Vinod Bagadia, Madhav Mudhe, Madhav Gude, Sudarshan Potbhare, Kalpana Bagadia and other devotees are involved in organising the event. Citizens have been invited to attend the programme with their families.
