The state government has ordered officials to expedite the Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0, ensuring farmers get uninterrupted daytime electricity. Additional Chief Secretary (Energy) Abha Shukla reviewed solar projects in the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar zone on Wednesday, stressing timely and quality completion.

Inspecting the 6 MW solar park in Warkhedi, Phulambri taluka commissioned on November 22, 2024 she noted its benefits for 650 farmers in Aland and Borgaon. She commended MSEDCL and MEIL officials for their efforts. Shukla directed authorities to accelerate sub-station upgrades and meet project deadlines. Senior officials, including Joint Secretary (Energy) Narayan Karad and MSEDCL chief engineer Pawankumar Kachhot, accompanied her. The state is pushing for rapid solar expansion under MSKVY 2.0, reinforcing its commitment to clean, reliable energy for farmers.
