Aurangabad, Jan 22:

The Jawaharnagar police seized Gutkha worth Rs 68,977 by conducting a raid on a house at Nathnagar at Sindhi Colony on Friday. A case has been registered against the Gutkha seller Santosh Babulal Bora (44, Nathnagar, Sindhi Colony) at the Jawaharnagar police station.

The police received the information from the informer that a traders is selling the banned Gutkha from his house at Nathnagar. Under the guidance of PI Santosh Patil, PSI Vasant Shelke, food safety officer Prashant Ajinthekar and others raided the house of Bora on Friday at around 10 am. During the search, the police team found pan masala, gutkha and scented tobacco in the hosue. A case has been registered at the Jawaharnagar police station on the complaint lodged by Ajinthekar and the trader has been arrested.
