Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, joined forces with MAGIC to organize a groundbreaking roadshow titled "Hero for Startups" (HFS) at CMIA Bajaj Bhavan on Tuesday. The initiative aims to foster innovation in the mobility sector and support startups, aligning with India’s vision of self-reliance.

The Hero for Startups platform is designed to identify and nurture startups with disruptive ideas for the automotive industry. Selected startups will receive financial backing and the opportunity to develop paid Proofs of Concept (PoCs). Successful PoCs could be integrated into Hero MotoCorp’s product portfolio, offering startups a significant growth opportunity.

Speaking at the event, MAGIC Director Ashish Garde said, “MAGIC collaborates with corporate entities to launch initiatives that support startups. The Hero for Startups initiative, in association with Hero MotoCorp, aligns with MAGIC’s mission to drive innovation and foster entrepreneurial growth.”

The initiative provides startups access to Hero MotoCorp’s R&D, manufacturing, and business teams. It also offers mentorship through boot camps and capacity-building programs to help startups navigate industry challenges effectively. The roadshow received an overwhelming response, with over 100 startups, entrepreneurs, students, and academic representatives participating in the event.
