Aurangabad, Dec 16:

The Indigo Bengalure – Aurangabad – Bengaluru service began from Wednesday and now it is possible for the Aurangabad residents to reach Bengaluru in just one and a half hours. On the first day of the service, 90 passengers arrived in the city from Bengaluru and 92 passengers fly to Bengaluru from the city. Moreover, the Aurangabad residents have received the air connectivity to Chennai with this service.

The IT professionals, students, industrialists and private service employees have been benefitted with the Bengaluru service now. After the interruption of the service due to lockdown, the passengers had to travel by train or road, which was time consuming. Now, it is possible to arrived in the city and go to Bengaluru in just one and a half hours. The passengers have opined that the service should be continued henceforth.

Chikalthana Airport director, D G Salve said that the development of the city will boost due to the beginning of the Bengaluru service. The Information and Technology sector will be specially benefitted with this service. In all, 90 passengers arrived and 92 passengers fly to Bengaluru on Wednesday, he said.
