Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Students from the Chemical Engineering Department of Jawaharlal Nehru College of Engineering (JNEC), MGM University, were selected for jobs through campus interviews and internships in different companies.

Hikal India Ltd selected two students through campus interview recently. MGM University has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hikal India Ltd for training, placement and research collaboration.

MGM University Chancellor Ankushrao Kadam, Vice Chancellor Dr Vilas Sapkal, Registrar Dr Ashish Gadekar, Dean Dr H H Shinde, Principal Dr Vijaya Musande, Head of the Training and Placement Department Dr Parminder Kaur, and Head of the Department Dr Sadanand Guhe congratulated the selected students and wished them best of luck for their future endeavors.

Vaishnavi Kathar and Pushkar Baraskar from Chemical Engineering Department were selected in the campus interviews. Also, Om Rairikar and Prathamesh Laghane have been selected in Reliance Industries Ltd and Harman Finochem Ltd respectively.

All the final-year students are doing unpaid internships in various chemical industries.
