A routine train journey turned tragic when a 34-year-old laborer lost his balance while spitting and fell from a moving train, dying on the spot. The shocking incident occurred around 5 pm on Tuesday near the Shivajinagar railway tracks.

The victim, identified as Taher Khan Nawaz Khan, a resident of Barkatnagar, Parbhani, was traveling to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar with his cousin Kauser Khan and friend Kunal Gawli. The trio had been called for construction work at Shiur Bungalow. As the train passed Mukundwadi station and neared Nirmal Hospital in Shivajinagar, Taher went to the door to spit. He lost his balance and was flung off the train. Passengers immediately pulled the emergency chain, bringing the train to a halt. His cousin and friend, along with local residents, rushed him to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. Pundliknagar police are investigating the case.
