Aurangabad, Dec 2:

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (SCETC) declared the result of Maharashtra LLB Common Entrance Test (MAH-LLB-CET) for three years course on Wednesday.

It may be noted that the registration for the test started in March. But, it was given an extension for four times owing to the coronavirus across the State. The test was postponed twice after the rise in the number of COVID-19 patients and deaths.

A total of 43,589 candidates took the entrance test on November 2 and 3 for admissions to the first-year law undergraduate three-year degree course for the academic year 2020-21.

The examinations have 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on different subjects, including legal aptitude and legal reasoning, general knowledge of the current affair, logical and analytical reasoning and English.

The result was declared on Wednesday. Mugdha Vasant Pathwardhan, Yukti Arora, Aniruddha Omkar Shidhaye and Vrinda Bhola secured the first place by obtaining 118 marks each.

Namasvi Bharat Bhanushali and Gahena Hemant Gambani are second place with 114 marks each.

Kanchi Gupta, Shamika Sameer Tamhane, Preksha Kamlesh Gandhi, Shruti Sreekumar, Jiya Hemant Gupta, Winnie Wilson Demonte and Charu Vipin Trivedi got third place. Each of them received 112 marks. A total of 20 students scored zero marks.
