A diesel Audi travelling from Nanded to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar was suddenly engulfed in flames while in motion on Monday night, leaving the vehicle completely charred. The incident occurred around 8.30 pm between Dhoot Hospital and Vitthalnagar, prompting swift action from emergency responders. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

According to reports, Chaitanya Kondwar(Nanded), was driving the luxury SUV (MH-11-BV-5179) with a companion when smoke began to billow from the engine near the airport. Realizing the imminent danger, Kondwar immediately halted the vehicle in front of Sahyadri Hospital in Vitthalnagar and exited with his co-passenger. Moments later, the fire intensified, rapidly consuming the car. Acting swiftly, Kondwar managed to retrieve all valuables before flames engulfed the vehicle. Upon receiving the alert, fire officer Sominath Bhosale and his team arrived at the scene and doused the blaze. However, by the time the fire was brought under control, the SUV had been reduced to ashes. Preliminary information suggests the Audi, a 2015 model, had changed ownership, with Kondwar being its second owner.
