Aurangabad, Nov 22:

Considering the possibility of the second Corona wave, district collector Sunil Chavan directed the administration to make preparations for more Covid tests at laboratories in the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU). Chavan visited the laboratory at BAMU onSunday.

Head of the microbiology department of GMCH, Dr Jyoti Bajaj, director of the laboratory Dr Khedkar and others were present.

The administration is making preparations through the health department. The laboratories should be equipped for the rapid tests of Corona. Hence, the laboratories should keep the human resources, equipment and other articles ready, Chavan directed.
