Aurangabad, June 9:

A motorcyclist returning home from work died after a dash by a container to his motorcycle at Waluj MIDc on Tuesday at around 11 pm. The deceased has been identified as Subhash Sominath Argade (32, Manishanagar, Waluj).

Agrade was returning home from work at A B Engineering (C-Sector – 158, Waluj MIDC) on Tuesday night on his motorcycle (MH 20 CA 7017). Suddenly, a speeding container (NL 01 G 0600) coming from opposite direction dashed his motorcycle near Crompton and Greaves Company. The other commuters on the road helped Argade and informed the Waluj MIDC police. He was immediately taken to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where the doctors declared him dead after examination. Meanwhile, the container driver fled away leaving the container at the accident spot. A case has been registered while PSI Rajendra Bangar under the guidance of PI Madhukar Sawant is further investigating the case.
