Aurangabad, Dec 7:

A crook duped a car-owner of Rs 70,000 on the false promise to rent his car in a company. A case has been registered against accused Kavi Dalmal Pradhan at the Kranti Chowk police station.

Complainant, Dinesh Karamchand Tesama (Gandhinagar) is a sanitary worker. He purchased a car recently. Accused, Pradhan is a driver and knew Tesama’s brother. Last month, the accused told Tesama that he will rent his car in a company on contractual basis and hence it will be easier for him to repay the loan of the car. He told that Rs 70,000 expense will incur for this and he will have to sign a contract. Tesama paid Rs 55,000 through Paytm and Rs 15,000 cash. However, the accused later started ignoring him even after 20 days. Then, he lodged a complaint at the Kranti Chowk police station.
