Aurangabad, Nov 28:

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (SCETC) declared the result Maharashtra Master of Computer Application Common Entrance Test (MAH-MCA-CET) on last evening.

Around 15,366 candidates appeared for the MCA-CET held on October 28 after a seven months gap. The test is conducted generally conducted in March-April every year. But, this time around, it was postponed several times following the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

The test had 100 multiple choice objective type questions (200 marks) based on Mathematics and Statistics, English comprehension, verbal ability and computer concept, logical reasoning. There was negative marking for a wrong question. The duration was of 90 minutes, and the medium was s English only.

Of the total appeared, more than 180 students scored zero marks while 154 candidates obtained 90 and above percentile. Nivedita Jain topped in the result with (154 marks out of 200) in the State while L Akshay is on the second position with (141). Nitish Verma, Raushan Kumar and Soham S are on third place with securing 140.05 marks each. The notification for the admission process will be announced soon. Over 7,055 youths got 25 and less than it marks.
