The body of 19-year-old teen missing for two days, was found floating in a well in the Karnapura area on Wednesday. Police and fire brigade officials retrieved the body, bringing a grim end to the search.

The deceased has been identified as Abhay Gorakhnath Bhagat(Banewadi). Abhay left home on Sunday and never returned. His worried family filed a missing person complaint at Vedantnagar Police Station. On Tuesday, locals spotted a body in a well and alerted authorities. Fire officials, including Deputy Fire Officer Vijay Rathod and his team, pulled the body from the water. Abhay’s father runs a milk business, and he is survived by his parents and a sister. The Cantonment Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of death.
