MSEDCL oifficials visit mishap site

Engineers and staff of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) visited the spot in Mesarwadi on Sunday evening where two persons died due to electrocution.

Officials stated that the connection at the site was single-phase and no safety precautions had been taken during the work. They also clarified that MSEDCL had not been informed about the ongoing work. The power utility asserted that the incident did not occur due to any fault on its part, and termed any such allegations as incorrect.
