Aurangabad, July 18:

Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Government College of Arts and Science held a one-day online national webinar on ‘Fostering Teaching Learning Practices for Quality Enhancement in Higher Education recently.

Joint Director of Higher Education (Aurangabad Region) Dr Ranjitsinha Nimbalkar

inaugurated the webinar.

Dr Ulhas Udhan, former Management Council member of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and Pro-Vice-Chancellor of University of Hyderabad (Telangana) Dr B Rajashekhar were the chief guests present. Dr Ranjitsinha Nimbalkar, in his inaugural address, stated that it is the need of the hour to elevate the standard of higher education.

Dr Ulhas Udhan said that to increase the standard of education, all aspects of education should work together.

College Principal Dr R H Satpute delivered the welcome speech.

Webinar convener Dr Yugandhara Topare, Dr Khan Shaista, Dr Seema Bodhke, Dr Archana Chapolikar conducted the different sessions.

Dr Rajashekhar, Dr Kalpana Chauhan from St. Xavier’s College, Sandeep Jogdand and Dr Vijay Joshi also spoke. Dr Vaishali Deshmukh proposed a vote of thanks.
