"The party high command has never trusted its workers and hasn’t even done basic SEO," former Paithan MLA Sanjay Waghchaure strongly criticized the leadership on Wednesday. Meanwhile, despite opposition, the Gangapur ticket was given to a candidate who harmed the party, expressed Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) district president Pandurang Tangade Patil. His frustration was openly shared in front of newly appointed Marathwada in-charge Rajesh Tope.

"We are yet to recover from the assembly election results, which were not as expected. Power in Maharashtra was secured through unethical means. However, even without power, it is possible to fight for public issues prove this and stay united," advised Tope.

'Are we the only fools?'

"Leaders must build credibility. Why deceive us when tickets are given to outsiders at the last moment? When the party was in power, how many people got SEO? It doesn’t even require money. I have been denied a ticket four times. Is it that only the leadership of Beed, Parbhani, and Jalna is wise while our district is full of fools?" Waghchaure lashed out, drawing applause from party workers.

He further stated, "Even if I am expelled, I won’t leave the party. Speaking the truth has become a crime, but I have nothing left to fear."

The event was conducted by Rahul Tathe, with speeches from Social Justice Department leader Bhimrao Hattiambire, city president Khwaja Sharafoddin, district women’s president Chhaya Jangle, Motilal Jagtap, Sheikh Salim, Raghunath Patil and others.
