Aurangabad, June 20:

A 16 years old boy withdrew Rs 8,000 from the bank account of his mother for playing online video game and ran away from home when his mother scolded him. The Pundliknagar police searched and traced the boy and handed over to his parents.

PSI Vitthal Ghodke said, a 16 years old boy from Pundliknagar was playing online video games for the past four months. He knew the password of the Paytm and online banking account of his mother. He used to pay Rs 100 to Rs 300 to play the online game. A few days back, he mother came to know about it and she scolded him. On June 15, he ran away from home and his parents lodged a complaint at the Pundliknagar police station, next day.

On June 17, he called on the phone of his mother from an unknown number and cut the phone by saying hello. Police traced through the mobile phone and went to Sajapur Phata with his parents. They found the boy there. He was then handed over to his parents. API Ghansham Sonawane said that the parents should keep a watch on the activities of the children.
