Aurangabad, July 22:

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education halted the online registration for Common Entrance Test (CET) to be conducted for the 11th admissions in the State.

It may be noted that the State Government cancelled the examinations of SSC because of Covid 19 spread. The students were declared passed on the basis of their performance in 9th standard and internal assessment of 10th standard.

The result was declared on July. The State Government decided to give admissions to the 11th Class through CET.

The registration for the entrances began recently and its last date was July 26.

The test will have 100 marks based on four subjects-Mathematics, Science, Sociology and English (25 marks each) of SSC. The test will be conducted between 11 am to 1 pm on August 21.

However, the State Board announced on Thursday that the website was shut down because of a technical problem.

“The students would be informed when the online registration is restored and they would be sufficient time for it,” the MSBSHSE stated in the notification issued today.
