Aurangabad, Jan 1:

A roommate steals laptop, four mobile phones and a two-wheeler of other roommates at Padampura on December 29. A case has been registered at the Vedantnagar police station in this regard. The accused has been identified as Rohit Kishor Lohiya (Kopargaon, Ahmednagar).

Police said, complainant Pushkar Prakash Sonawane (Manjeet Residency, Padampura) and his room-mate Rohit and other friends were at home on December 29 night. When, he and his friends was sleeping. Rohit stole his laptop amounting Rs 35,000, cash, ATM card of Aditya Moraskar, mobile phones of Amol Bhagyawant, Rohit Gaware, Parasannajit Bansode and Vishal Bhandare. In the morning, they even came to know that even the motorcycle was stolen. Constable Samad Pathan is further investigating the case.
