Aurangabad, Nov 30:

The administration of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada Univeristy issued orders to stop the salary of desk officer working in the Examinations Department who refused to accept transfer orders.

It may be noted that vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole received complaints that some employees have been working at one place for many years.

Following orders of VC, the registrar Dr Jaishri Suryavanshi issued transfer orders of 31 employees, including 21 confirmed staff, on October 19. All of them, except desk officer Popal Nikam refused to join NSS Department, the new section even after Dr Suryavanshi issuing show-cause notice.

He asked the registrar what is the reason for his transfer. The administration did him standing relieve of the department and asked the Establishment Department to stop his salary.
