Aurangabad, Nov 10:

Jinsi police raided a house in Wahed Colony and seized a stock of scented tobacco worth Rs 2.80 lakh on Tuesday. Police have arrested Abdul Azim Abdul Majeed (36, Wahed Colony) in connection with the case.

Receiving a tip-off, a team comprising Jinsi PI Venkatesh Kendre, SI Datta Shelke, constables Harun Sheikh, Sanjay Gawande, food security officer Prashant Ajinthekar and Farid Siddiqui raided the suspect''s house on Tuesday afternoon. Stocks of banned scented tobacco were found in the house. The price of this tobacco was found to be around Rs 2.80 lakh.
