Aurangabad, July 17:

Here is good news for the regular passengers as the South Central Railway (SCR) has decided to operate the DEMU train on route Rotegaon-Nanded-Rotegaon from July 19. The regular commuters were facing severe inconvenience due to absence of passenger train for the past one and a half years, it is learnt.

It may be noted the issuance of the general tickets is closed these days, although special trains are operated from the local railway station regularly. There was no train for unreserved ticket passengers. Considering their inconvenience, the SCR will be operating the DEMU train from Monday (July 19). The train will leave Rotegaon at 7.20 am, arrive in Aurangabad at 8.35 am, and reach Nanded at 3.20 pm. It will also stop at Mukundwadi and Chikalthana railway stations.

The return journey of the train will start on the same day from Nanded at 7.25 pm, arrive in Aurangabad at 1.05 am and reach Rotegaon at 3 am. The Up and Down trains will halt for five minutes at Aurangabad station.
