Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Despite rising demand for Shivshahi buses in summer, passengers face frequent issues such as non-functional ACs, breakdowns, and flat tires.

To address complaints like non-functional ACs or other issues, the Shivshahi buses now display mobile numbers of depot officials. There are a total of 55 Shivshahi buses in the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar division of ST, with the highest number stationed at the Central Bus Stand.

Depot-wise Shivshahi Bus Count:

• Central Bus Stand: 36

• CIDCO Bus Stand: 15

• Soygaon Depot: 4

Complaints about poor maintenance continue, with some buses reportedly in bad shape. Replacements are arranged when breakdowns occur.

Regular Maintenance:

AC servicing is done every three months, with general maintenance every 10 days.

"Shivshahi ACs are serviced every three months, with 10-day checkups. No recent complaints."

– Ajay Patil, senior depot manager

"All buses are in good condition with working ACs. No written complaints received."

– Santosh Ghané, divisional transport officer
