Aurangabad, June 19: A teacher has been duped of Rs 25 lakh in a land deal. When the complainant demanded his money back, the accused threatened to kill him through a supari killer.

The accused has been identified as Dilshad Alikhan alias Dilshad Jahan (Alkapur, Hyderabad, presently residing at Hudco Corner).

Police said Dilshad allegedly sold a piece of land to teacher Mohammed Nadim Salim Pasha (36, Bhadkal gate). The transaction took place between August 27, 2019 to September 13, 2019. Later, Mohammed Nadim came to know that land he bought belonged to someone else but Dilshad passed it off as his own land.

When Nadim demanded his money back, Dilshad threatened to implicate him in a false case and to kill him. Nadim approached the Begumpura police after which a case was registered.
