Three more robbery incidents in the city

The series of robberies in the city continues, with three more people being robbed in the past 24 hours. In Shivajinagar, an elderly woman’s gold chain was snatched, while in Indiranagar, four individuals attacked a schoolboy with a knife for refusing to give them money.
Gold chain snatched from elderly woman
Surekha Deshmukh (Shivajinagar) went to a local shop at 10.30 am on Tuesday. While walking back home, she noticed a young man pretending to be on a phone call and following her. Assuming he would pass by, Deshmukh remained unconcerned. However, as she reached home and opened her compound gate, the young man suddenly snatched her gold chain. Despite her attempt to hold onto it, the thief managed to take away approximately 6 grams of gold. Pundaliknagar police are investigating the matter.
Mobile stolen from a car
An employee of Mahavitaran Syed Firdous (Rozabuagh), had gone to the municipal headquarters area at 11 pm on February 24. After parking his car, he stepped out for a short while. When he returned, he realized that a trio riding a motorcycle had stolen his mobile phone from the car.
Attacked with a knife over money
Archana Divekar’s son, Dipesh(Indiranagar), was heading to a shop with his friend Sahil Manohar at 9 pm recently. At that time, Sumit, Mazhar, and two of their associates stopped them and demanded money. When Dipesh refused, one of them attacked him with a knife on his neck. Sahil was also beaten. A case has been registered at Jawaharnagar Police Station regarding this incident.
