Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Two employees defrauded their own companies of lakhs of rupees and disappeared, prompting police action. Following complaints from their respective firms, Kranti Chowk police have registered cases against them.

The accused have been identified as Satish Tribhuvan(Bhimshaktinagar) and Rajesh Jain (55, Shreyanagar). Both were entrusted with handling company finances but misused their positions for personal gain.

Sales executive embezzles Rs 12.74 lakh

Rajesh Jain, employed in the sales department of Satyam Polymets Pvt. Ltd. since December 2022, was responsible for collecting payments from customers. However, instead of depositing the funds with the company, he allegedly siphoned off ₹12.74 lakh over the course of a year. When the company discovered the fraud, Jain assured them he would return the amount with interest but later stopped responding. Left with no choice, company manager Nakul Chandak filed a police complaint, leading to a case against Jain.

Tribhuvan swindles Rs 9.71 lakh from EduMedia firm

Satish Tribhuvan, working in the sales department of Jeevandeep EduMedia, a firm dealing in educational books and digital learning materials, handled sales in schools across Paithan, Vaijapur, Gangapur, Khultabad, Waluj and Ranjangaon. He was instructed to accept only cheque payments. However, in September 2021, the company found that he had collected dues in cash and deposited them into his personal bank account. He, too, initially promised to return the money but later fled. The company then filed a complaint, resulting in a police case against him. Both cases are now under police investigation, and authorities are working on tracing the accused. The incidents have raised concerns among local businesses regarding financial fraud and employee trust.
