Aurangabad, July 20:

Hundreds of undergraduate courses are worried as Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University started collecting a late fee of Rs 1600 fine from Monday for the submission of examinations.

It may be noted that the university will conduct the next session examinations in August/September. The process of submissions of application forms began recently and its last date was July 17.

The examinations department commenced collecting a late fee of Rs 1600 from each student for the submission of examinations on examination.

The financial condition of parents of many students was affected due to Covid situation. So, they could not arrange money to pay a fee.

A group of students told this newspaper that late Rs 1600 should not be collected from UG aspirants taking into Covid situation and its impact on the financial condition of families.
