Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Urdu Karwan an Education and literary NGO celebrated its fifth anniversary through a programme organised at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Research Center.

Literary figures, educators and students, highlighted the organization’s contributions to Urdu language, literature, and student talent development. The program featured Quran recitation.

Nafeesa Shaikh (Coordinator, Urdu Karwan) presented the annual report.

Mohsin Sahil’s poetry collection book "Beech Samandar Sahil" was released and it was praised as a significant addition to Urdu literature by Noorul Hasnain. Principal Dr Maqdoom Farooqui also spoke.

Organisation’s president Farid Ahmed Khan emphasised the need to secure Urdu’s constitutional rights. Awards were given to 225 students and teachers for their outstanding performances.

Special honours were also bestowed on contributors like Tabrez Khan and the Wahid Kalam Foundation. Irfan Saudagar and Rasheda Kausar successfully conducted the proceedings of the programme. Qazi Nuzhat Fatima proposed a vote of thanks.
