An unidentified thieves broke into the house and stole valuables worth Rs 6.89 lakh recently. A case has been registered at Satara Police Station on Saturday.

According to the complainant, Vasudev Umale (Sudhakarnagar, Satara Area), the burglary occurred while he was away from home. Some unidentified thieves broke in and stole all the valuables, which were discovered missing two days after the incident. The stolen items include a 4.3-gram gold biscuit piece along with a small purse worth Rs 35,000, a DVR valued at Rs 4,000, and cash amounting to Rs 6.5 lakh. PSI Nandkumar Bhandare is investigating the case.
