Aurangabad, March 21:

A verbal conflict arose between the minister of state Abdul Sattar and a police constable during the election of the Aurangabad District Central Co-operative Bank (ADCCB) on Sunday. Sattar said to the police constable that he had taken a bribe from the opposite panel. The constable was annoyed over it and replied to Sattar, due to which a chaotic situation arose.

The elections for the posts of directors of ADCCB were held at two centres in Aurangabad on Sunday from 8 am onwards.

The police constable of Kranti Chowk police station, Sanjay Bhokare, requested Sattar and MLC Satish Chavan, who stayed at the centres for two hours. Sattar was annoyed over it. He told Bhokare that why is saying so to him, and he should have taken money from the opposite panel. The issue was resolved after the people present there intervened. The police bandobast was increased when the commissioner of police came to know about this matter.
