Aurangabad, Nov 23:

A housewife committed suicide at Raigadnagar at N-9, Cidco area, on Sunday afternoon. Her husband is an industry deputy director at Nanded. The deceased has been identified as Vijayata Kiran Jadhav.

On Saturday, her husband Kiran Jadhav came to Aurangabad at Raigadhnagar. The husband and wife had a quarrel over petty reason on Sunday afternoon. Later, Vijayata went to her room and locked it. Kiran knocked on the door for a long time. However, she did not reply. Later the door was broken and Vijayata was found hanging. Cidco police was informed about the incident. Vijayata was rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where the doctors declared her dead after the examination. A case of accidental death has been registered at the Cidco police station. The police in the preliminary information said that the couple quarreled over the issue of going to meet her ailing father.
