Aurangabad, Oct 26: A young labourer missing from Indiranagar, Garkheda area was found dead in a nullah in suspicious circumstances on Monday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Shubham Sakharam Salve (19). Police said, Shubham was a labourer and was at home on Sunday due to Dussehra. He went out of the house in the evening and did not return. His relatives searched for him everywhere but could not find him. Hence, they rushed to the Jawaharnagar police station to lodge complaint a missing complaint. The police told them that a young boy was found dead in a nullah in Garkheda today.

Meanwhile, Pundliknagar police removed the body from the nullah with the help of the fire brigade jawans. The relatives rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and identified him as Shubham. A case of accidental death has been registered at the Pundliknagar police station.

Meanwhile, the investigating officer informed that Shubham’s death mentioned in the post mortem report is due to drowning. The viscera has been preserved and sent to the laboratory for testing, he said.
