Youth stabbed in chest after being told to ‘stay away from wife’; two booked in Cidco

A 26-year-old man was allegedly stabbed in the chest and back after two persons intercepted him on the road and warned him to “stay away from his wife.” The incident occurred near Kalavati Lawns around 9.30 pm on April 11. Cidco police have registered a case against Nilesh Tribhuvan, a resident of Jadhavwadi, and his associate.

The injured has been identified as Ajay Parseiyya (26), also a resident of Jadhavwadi. According to his complaint, his wife has been living separately for the past few months. On the night of the incident, Nilesh allegedly stopped him on the road and threatened him, asking him to stay away from his wife. When Ajay told him not to interfere in his personal matter, the accused, along with his accomplice, allegedly assaulted him and stabbed him in the chest and back. Local residents rushed him to hospital for treatment. Based on his complaint, police have registered a case against the two accused and further investigation is underway.
