Aurangabad, Jan 1:

The Zilla Parishad''s chief executive officer (CEO) today found 30 personnel reporting late on their duties, in the morning.

To maintain work discipline in every section and detect the late-comers, the CEO Mangesh Gondawale has started the checking drive from Wednesday. On the first day, he caught 129 late-comers. The administration served show-cause notices to them. Later on, he ordered his personal assistant to daily obtain each department''s attendance registers and report to him. On Thursday, the figure of late-comers reduced to 61.

Meanwhile, the general administration department (GAD) will be serving show-cause notices to today''s late-comers (held on the first day of the new year), soon. Meanwhile, the checking drive will continue and surprise visits will also be made to maintain discipline in each office, said the sources. The CEO had also alerted all head of the departments to maintain discipline and work culture in their offices.
