Aurangabad, Dec 16:

The administration of Zilla Parishad will get a fund of Rs 200 crore from the State Government for the construction and repair of old primary school buildings of the district.

The repair work of buildings which were constructed before 1960 will be carried out.

It may be noted that there are some old ZP school buildings which need repair work urgently while others need to be demolished and re-constructed. There was a demand from various quarters to repair the old building or construct new ones.

Villagers have collected money to repair the building as they were not sure that they would get fund from the administration.

The State Government made a provision of Rs 200 crore in the budget of the State. The repair work and construction of buildings will commence. Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad made this announced through her Twitter account on Wednesday.
