Uber and the Mumbai Indians have partnered to provide free shuttle services to supporters of the team when they attend home games at Wankhede Stadium in Churchgate. Commencing on March 31, this effort seeks to improve the match-day experience for spectators while reducing traffic in and around the stadium. Ten Uber Shuttle buses will run between Wankhede Stadium and Bandra-Kurla Complex before each game on match days. Return routes will serve Bandra, Worli, and BKC, easing the burden of last-minute taxi reservations and assisting fans in navigating traffic and parking issues.
Uber will launch match-day promo codes that offer savings on auto trips to and from the stadium in addition to the shuttle service. Fans are encouraged to use shared mobility over private vehicles through this endeavour. "Uber Shuttle brings the dependability of Uber to buses. This service, which is the mobility partner of the Mumbai Indians, provides fans with an easy method to travel while reducing traffic. We want to make it easier for MI fans to attend match days," said Snehashish Nag, Head of Strategy for Uber Shuttle.

Fans can use the Uber app and enter Wankhede Stadium as their location to schedule their complimentary shuttle journeys. They can confirm their reservation and select their chosen time slot after clicking the Shuttle symbol. With reserved seating and air conditioning, the service ensures that there are never any standing passengers.
The pre-game shuttles will travel to Wankhede Stadium from the MMRDA Ground Parking (next to Metropolitan, BKC). Return services to Haji Ali, Phoenix Palladium, and BKC will be offered after the game from the Cooperage Bandstand area. The shuttle services have a limited number of seats, and they will be distributed according to first-come, first-served. With air conditioning, reserved seating, cashless payments, and in-app safety features including a 24-hour Safety Line, the Uber Shuttle buses, which are now available in Delhi and Kolkata, are being tested in Mumbai as a daily commuter alternative.
