AB de Villiers remained unbeaten on 55 as he and Shivam Dube took RCB to 201/3 in 20 overs, setting Mumbai Indians a target of 202 to win. Devdutt Padikkal was dismissed for 54 as he skied one from Trent Boult to Kieron Pollard at long-on. Virat Kohli’s struggles in the middle came to an end when he chipped in to Rohit Sharma in Rahul Chahar’s over. He was dismissed for 3 (11 balls). 

Aaron Finch was caught in the deep by Pollard as well for 52 in Boult’s over. Aaron Finch (52) and Devdutt Padikkal (54) got RCB off to a cracking start.  RCB added 105 runs in the last 7 overs as AB de Villiers (55*) went into carnage mode. Shivam Dube (27*) smashed three sixes in the last over to take the total across 200, after Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bowl.
