Ajay Devgn's most ambitious project Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior has finally been declared tax-free by the government of Maharashtra. The movie which is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare has been receiving positive response upon its release. The movie was earlier declared tax-free in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. The movie which stars, Kajol, Saif Ali Khan, and Sharad Kelkar has already crossed the 100-crore mark. 

The film clashed with Deepika Padukone's Chhapaak at the box-office but Ajay film has managed to do tremendous business post its release. The news about the period drama being tax-free was shared on the official Twitter handle of ANI. Meanwhile, on the work front Ajay has commenced the shoot of S.S Rajamouli's RRR. The film which is based on the pre-independence era also stars, Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan and Junior NTR.
